1. What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
Mom always said: “Do it now, worry about it later.” This has been a great life lesson for me and something that always works. There are times in my work and personal life where it’s so much easier to do things later, but mom’s advice helps me keep perspective. This mantra has helped me through situations in which it was easy to get nervous or let anxiety convince me to procrastinate. And, at the end, as much as it’s hard to say: Mom was, and always is, right!
2. What kind of weather is your favorite?
I love fall and spring days that are very sunny. These are the days that encourage activities outside, get me moving, and keep momentum going! I love sunny days in the fall and spring so I can work in my yard and appreciate nature. A good, snowy day in front of the fire with a good book is priceless, too!
